Is this a girls' issue? So what if it is ;-))
With make-up I'm as economical as you are; lipstick is a must, blusher is a can and apart from that I go with what nature gives me. I used to think mascara was really cool, but my eyes can't take it any more.
Instead, my two construction sites are: red hair (on top of the grey hair that I have for a long time) and fingernails.
The latter were always my own, real ones, but filed long and sharp and always immaculately polished. Now... A renovation project like this, where you spend a year and a half bricklaying, plastering, sawing, sanding, chopping and dragging, not only costs nerves and money, but also the stability and any chic in the nails!
As my customers look directly at my fingers, e.g. during the introduction to new control units or tablet surveys, this has become increasingly unpleasant for me in recent months. The idea of gel nails matured and eventually led to the purchase of a comprehensive basic set.
The first attempt was surprisingly successful and I regret a little that I didn't try it earlier... ;-))
Your nails look too good. These are the gel ones? Right? You have to kind of make a nail out of some resin and shape it on spot? And the colour... I don't know if I can ever pull it off! Bravo
Yes, I also like applying nail polish. One of my favourites actually and I find it therapeutic indeed. But there is an issue. We can't perform ablution (waddu/ wazu), a prerequisite before offering namaz. So, I slowly gave it up. Now, there are some brands in market which claim to sell breathable nail enamels. Maybe I will buy one of those.
Thank you for stopping by :) and for this beautiful picture!

Yeah well, the colour is not my style, to be honest ;-)) I'd chosen the colour I liked least for my first attempt - I was so sure I'd have to sand it all down again and repeat many times until it worked.
And yes, you're absolutely right: you can either apply the gel and model it directly on the nail or use a plastic mould first, which you can remove once the gel has hardened. That's how I did it at first, because it seemed easier to me.
However, I have never heard of breathable nail polish... Would be cool, not just for ceremonial occasions.

That's cool!
They are advertised as porous polishes. So they are water permeable (according to them). Yes, apart from religious reasons, they would (or should) be more comfortable to wear for extended periods. I will buy, try, and then give you a feedback ;)
