I feel like I am sitting in a parliament or assembly (politics)😂 and a meeting is going on, everyone is expressing their own point of view and I don't understand what to comment. I totally agree with you. The notification interface needs a new touch.
If I talk about my experience, I don't have much experience on Steemit. I am an active social media user and I also consider that an auto tool of "mark all as read" should be available in Steemit notifications.

If such a tool is available, then our old and new notifications will not be mixed. This action will make it very easy for us. And we will also know whose notification we have read and whose not.
