Fathers Day 2024

in WORLD OF XPILAR2 months ago

NZ & Australia celebrate Fathers day on the first Sunday in September, so yesterday was Fathers day here.

I had a great day and even got some presents as well, the kids slept in but first up my partner gave me a box of chocolates - YUM.

Then once the kids woke up they gave me a Jaffle maker i can use over the fire pit, we just call them Toasties as opposed to Jaffles here in NZ.

I heated it up on the fire pit last night to season it a little before we use it properly, we used to have one of these when i was little i remember.

Here is a picture of some Crispy cremes i got for the kids on Friday after they finished school, cost for these four were $13 NZD.

For the past few days we have just been hanging out at home relaxing, the fire pit has also been used every night as its nice to sit by the fire and chill out.

"Awwww, happy belated Father's Day to you! 🎉💖 It sounds like you had an amazing day with your family, and I'm loving all the delicious treats you shared (chocolates, crispy cremes, and even a new jaffle maker 😋). Your photos are making me feel cozy and warm, especially with the fire pit being used every night - that's my idea of the perfect relaxation! 🌃

It's great to hear about your happy memories with your dad up in heaven too. 💕

We are going to try some toasties in the jaffle maker tomorrow night.

Ham cheese & tomato sounds like a good starting point.

Yep the fire pit is very relaxing
