RE: My eclipse experience - Lunar Eclipse - 18 Sep 2024 - Imprinted by LightCaptured
Haha. I don't have a professional camera but I do have a basic telescope which I also always want to use from the comfort of my home.
Do you have photos of satellites? I would like to see.
What are the tentative dates for the big comet? I will try to look.
:)
I don't have photos of satellites, shooting quickly moving objects in the night sky is almost impossible with the current cameras and lenses that are affordable to an ordinary guy as myself. ;)
I think it is these days the visibility is shifting from the Southern to the Northern hemisphere. The comet is all in the news.
The scientists say it should be visible with a naked eye starting today but you better search for yourself and your location, this is the query string I use:
"Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS)"
I hope you manage to see it, I saw and took few crappy photos of a comet a few years ago and it was still an awesome feeling ;)
