RE: We’re restoring lemur habitats

in WORLD OF XPILARlast month

Yes, Madagascar is unique in every respect, the uniqueness of the terrestrial fauna and flora is immediately visible, but no less unique is the underwater flora of the waters of Madagascar, where unique plants of the Aponageton family grow, which differ from each other in the appearance of the leaf, for example, Aponageton madagascariensis with perforated leaves and Aponageton crispus, with leaves twisted into a spiral.

I have tried several times to propagate Aponageton by growing seeds and by cutting the tuber of the plant, with the tuber it is easier than with collecting seeds, because it is not easy to ensure that not a single drop of water falls on the flower :).
