Frosts.

Once seeing that spring frosts had come I took a photo camera and went to the neighboring swamps to photograph the ice patterns that appear on the surface of a drainage stream that crosses the once swampy area.

Even dried bolts are a place where you can never be sure of anything you can fill your memory card with interesting photos or you can come back with nothing.

Moreover there are no places where you have already been even if you have been there many times surprises can await you there every time.

Sometimes it is difficult to find a dry path through the swamps along which you can safely move and such searches led me to a place where people organized spontaneous vegetable gardens.

The vegetable gardening season had not yet begun but there was plenty of gardening equipment and other garbage here.

And then, before reaching the goal of my journey in the form of a stream I saw what I was looking for, namely, rather textured ice which covered the surface of the tea-colored water in a thin layer.

And underneath the ice some wet rags burlap or something else were visible.

This ice formed on the surface of the water that had collected in a large plastic bucket that gardeners had left here last season.

On the surface of the water half-submerged in it, there was floating so to speak a plastic bottle of mineral water but now it looked like a ship that was stuck in the ice and was waiting for an icebreaker to get out of the ice captivity.

If you don’t know how ships end up in such captivity then here’s a clear example for you.

It is good that no expedition suffered as a result of this and this incident will not be included in history books as material that children will have to memorize when studying the mistakes of sailors who did not take the issue of such a dangerous undertaking seriously.
