Evening Performance
There was a time when, after dark my parents and I dressed upleft the confines of our apartment and headed to where the view was initially obscured by a gold-embroidered curtain, and in the orchestra pit musical experiments were taking place by those whose sounds, after a while were to mark the opening of this curtain and the flashing of the lights above the theater stage, which would illuminate the entrance of the actors in the performance.
A lot of time has passed since then, and every time I drive past the theater building at the end of the day I remember those days and feel that the theater really calls and beckons as they sing in the famous song.
