@Art-Venture Macro Photography contest - The Frozen World
This is an entry to Macro Photography Contest run by @art-venture
Its already over two weeks here we have pretty unusual for Baltic hot sunny weather without any rain. Well, as per forecast the rain is finally coming from this Sunday and for all next week at least, so the Summer maybe over by now...
But at the moment is still sunny and hot and that maybe nice chance to get deep inside the archives and to take out something really cold :) So lets go into short visual journey in the frozen Macro World
This series of shots was done back to January, 2019. For the last couple years it is very hard to catch snow in here. The temperature always stay a bit above zero. Very unusual and not like years before, when we could have up to -25 degrees even. Climate is really changing. But one nice day temperature still dropped lower and some very light and nice snow came in the morning.
Using this special 1:5 macro lens it is possible to get really amazingly close shot of snow flakes or ice details. To make things a bit more unusual, just a piece of mirror was used as a background with snowflakes landing on it. While they were a bit melting still making some interesting ice formations.
Do you see some examples of Ice Creatures out there? I definitely do...
Enjoy!
