Well, there was more fodder for these theories when in 2008 China officially sprayed silver iodide in the clouds to ensure the Beijing Olympics were rain-free... It was quite effective, but actually unaffordable and meant further weather changes elsewhere (the sum of all weather is always the same ;-)) Unacceptable side effects...

Incidentally, an acquaintance is 1000% convinced of the permanent worldwide use of chemtrails: without these good-mood aerosols, we would not be able to live peacefully together / side by side as humanity... Okay... Maybe the spray bottle is a bit broken.
