In that regard, I must agree with Jeffrey Sachs. He said that the problem with trusting anything is that when we have a secretive government that lies to us, it creates a huge amount of distrust about everything.

Now, what do I think of chemtrails? I couldn’t care less whether this theory is true or not. Even if contrails do contain weather-controlling chemicals, would that really make a difference? Since the beginning of time, we’ve been harassing and exploiting Mother Nature to no end - dumping toxic waste into the oceans, poisoning the land, and burning fossil fuels endlessly. Destroying things has practically become second nature to us. We’ve done plenty of damage on the ground; what’s one more in the sky?

What if these contrails contain poisonous substances that affect public health? That could be alarming, yes. But haven’t the food and pharmaceutical industries already accomplished that? I mean, it’s not hard to see - just look around your kitchen or the grocery store. It’s right in our faces. And we’re worried about what’s happening in the sky?

On the other hand, if there’s no truth to this theory, well, thank heavens for that - we already have enough on our plates.
