RE: Missione: salvare la Samp! - Mission: Save Samp! [MULTILANGUAGE]

I also remember that title winning team, as well as the period when David Platt played there. I used to love watching Football Italia back in those days and it’s amazing to think how different the sport was then compared to now.

And hopefully I can do the same to Steemit.com over the next 10 months - do you like my transition there 😉 Whilst my proposal currently has enough support, I don’t want to get complacent and wondered if you’d also support it?

David Platt 😃, I had almost forgotten about him, also played a couple of seasons with Juventus and, if I'm not mistaken, he also scored a goal in the derby against Torino.

Proposal voted 😉👍

Platt's normally the first person that I think of when Sampdoria are mentioned. Him and the 2 you've already mentioned - Vialli and Lombardo - perhaps due to their spells at Chelsea and Crystal Palace respectively!

Proposal voted 😉👍

Much obliged 🙏

Vialli and Lombardo! Two other great players who have worn the Juventus jersey! Vialli in PL was for a time also something like a Player Manager, right?

Was Vialli briefly Chelsea's player-manager before the Abramovich era began? I can't really remember. I don't think he played for anybody else in England.

Not from the Sampdoria days, but another Italian I remember well was Fabrizio Ravanelli. I think I saw him play for Derby the year that they were relegated to the Championship and we got promoted. Must've been around 2002.
