this will creep in

greetings, friends of the Italian steem community, how are you all, I hope you are all in good health and have a nice day, and tonight I want to write about a topic I was chatting with one of my friends today and this person kept saying that 20 million Rupiah is nothing.

At first, I didn't take it seriously because I was sure that we had different views on money, but as the conversation progressed, I began to listen to his views, and I realized that he was not talking from the perspective that he had handled the money.

he was talking from the perspective of what he saw online and what he had heard, but the truth is that most people are in this category, They will tell me that one money is small, but in the end, they don't even have that money in their account, They have not experienced what it really means to manage the money.

Most people live their lives and they don't even live their truth, Social media has made them believe that 20 million RP is a small amount of money while they didn't even work for that amount of money and still curse.

Social media makes them believe so many things that are not true just because they spend so much time on screen and listen to so many idiots online, That's why I believe that amount of money is small but to be realistic, this is the main reason why most people feel poor even when they are still living well for themselves.

Many people still feel like they are not doing enough, but the real truth is that they are better than 50% of other people simply because social media makes them believe otherwise.

Most people live with the belief that they don't have enough money, They see many rich people showing off their money online, going on vacations, buying new houses and cars.

Some of these beliefs make us ungrateful, we believe that we don't do enough even though we are better than 70% of the people in our society, We are constantly pressured online and this makes everyone around us look better and we waste it.

This is also closely related to how we view goals, When we set goals and after achieving them, we don't feel the joy of achieving them, and this is a result of the pressure we put on ourselves and also the pressure we allow social media or external factors to put on us.

I have a friend who makes more than two millionaires every month and this person still complains that he has nothing, he feels like he is not doing enough while 90% of the population does not even make 2 million RP a month.

Calm your mind

Like it or not, as humans we will never be satisfied, but that has nothing to do with us not being satisfied with ourselves, We have to be able to be satisfied with ourselves and the easiest way to do that is to direct our thoughts and not let anyone put the unhelpful narrative into our heads that we are not doing enough.

The way to know is when we look at the data, we realize that we are doing well, but we can still do better, it's crazy how we let the Internet mess with our minds and make us believe that good is not good enough.

Many people live their days without happiness, they believe that what they have is small and that they should do better and they do not enjoy the process.

They have let the stupid narrative creep into their minds even when they do great things and break goals and achieve great things in life, they are still very sad and unhappy.

They do not even enjoy what they do and this is because goodness alone is not enough, I am not trying to say to be satisfied with less, what I want to say is that even when still struggling, find a way to enjoy the process and do not let anything ruin our minds that money that we have never handled before is Small.

Life is a process and we must be able to enjoy the process because every little thing is important, that is my discussion tonight, hopefully it is useful and can be understood, Greetings.

Sort:

The view on money also depends on how much you have: like as a child 100€ where soooo much! Now 100€ are nearly not even worth to mention. Later on, as you start working and earning your first money, perhaps 1.000€ sound much, and you forget totally about the 100€ from previous. Then you start to put some money aside, perhaps you save for something, some big dream you want to fullfill yourself and the money grows. Then you get to over 10k€ in savings and somehow if you look back to the 1.000€ they seem so small. And so on... ;)

But yeah, we should definitely focus more on the little things in life. I do really hard there. Specially because i took a long time Sertralina (a medication/psychotropic drug) that wenty feelings got numb. But totally numb. Like my father could have died, or i could have won in lottery, there wouldn't have been an expression from myself. Death would have been the best thing that could have happened to me, back then, since if you don't feel joy anymore, or even sadness, or anything, life is worthless. The feelings make life liveable. So it was really hard for me to be happy about anything... And since this was a long time, i was living like that, now i must learn to feel again, to sort my feelings and to let feelings stay and interpret them correctly. Most of the time i don't even notice them, so i must learn to note them properly too...

yes, that's right, my friend, I heard about your life being full of twists and turns that bring a little motivation in eliminating feelings in activities that are so free and a quiet soul, it seems like you are a quiet person, thank you for leaving your good comments, my friend, I hope your days are pleasant

You're absolutely right! Social media often makes us feel dissatisfied, but we need to appreciate what we have and enjoy our journey.
We're usually doing better than we think! 😊

Thank you for your input, we often compare our lives with others especially on social media, because on social media people tend to share their true reality, whether physical or financial.😊
