THE BEST PHOTO OF THE WEEK - Forget-Me-Nots

in Italy4 years ago (edited)

Well it's been a beautiful warm spring day in Birmingham today. Some of the forget-me-not
buds that I had noticed in my back yard at the weekend are flowering.

I love the purple and blue colour the flowers have when they first bloom.

I was very pleased that I was able to capture one of these in the image below, which I'd like to submit as my entry to 'The Best Photo Of The Week' competition.

Details of the competition are here https://steempeak.com/hive-184714/@italygame/new-contest-the-best-photo-of-the-week-nuovo-concorso-la-foto-migliore-della-settimana-eng-ita

Thank you, I am pleased you like it.

cool taking very professional macrophotography, I am very interested in seeing the work of your photographer @brianhphotos

Thank you. I appreciate you saying my macros look professional.

yes, friends, thank you very much, I hope you are always healthy

This looks perfect. I like the first photo. It is very suitable if you use a tripod so that the image does not shake.

I still use a smartphone and I use a macro lens that I bought in the Medan city market. This will make my image look good. But your job is better than mine.

Hopefully I can learn to shoot macros from you, @brianhphotos.

Thank you.

I use a tripod but it is possible to shoot a stack of images without a tripod, there are videos on youtube that show you techniques on how to do this and also you could have a look at my tutorial.

I'm sure you could use a smartphone camera to get some good stacked shots.

Good luck with your macros and let me know how you get on.

Thank you very much, Sir. You gave me great input. I will try to use a tripod using my cellphone. I will delve deeper into all macro shooting techniques.

Regards.

Wow, the forget-me-not look like have a fur coat, lovely blue and yellow colours. Really beautiful :)

Yes, when you feel the leaves they feel fury which you can then see when you stick a macro lens in front of them.

Thanks for your post!

I have always enjoyed viewing your consistently high quality photos so it was an honor and challenge I could not refuse when you mentioned me to participate in this competition.

Some very marvelous entries. Good luck to everyone.

And I will look forward to next week.
