Wishing all the admin, moderators, and all my Steemian fellows in "Hindwhale Community" are healthy and well. The reason I'm here today to be a participant in the contest ''hwcstory-04'' announced by our honorable Sir @sur-riti. Without any further ado I would like share my today’s story.

Amit and Rohan were two best friends who studied in the same class. Both were bright students but they loved playing pranks with all. They were always looking for new tricks to play on others.
Their science teacher, Sabita Madam, was a very strict person and never tolerated any mischief by her students. She gave strict punishments to rule-breakers students. All students feared her strictness. One day, Amit and Rohan planned to play a prank with her.
After thinking for several days, finally they made a mischief plan. They never imagined that this small prank might turn into a big disaster.

The next morning, they arrived at their school early and very secretly entered the science lab. That day, Sabita Madam had planned a lesson on chemical reactions. Amit and Rohan replaced a white powder with baking soda and red powder with chili powder. They thought when Madam mixed them, she would be surprised and confused, making the whole class laugh.
When the class started, Sabita Madam mixed the powders in a beaker. Suddenly, the mixture foamed up unexpectedly and released a strong smoke. The entire class started coughing. Soon, all the students ran

outside, feeling sick and also coughing a lot. Amit and Rohan couldn’t breathe properly.
To take the students to the school nurse, teachers, and the principal rushed to the scene. But then the principal asked, "Where is Sabita Madam?" Amit and Rohan were shocked after realizing that she hadn’t come out with them. After going inside the teachers and Principal found Sabita Madam unconsciously lying on the floor, holding her chest. The school nurse checked her pulse and shouted, "She had a heart attack! Call an ambulance immediately!"
Madam was rushed to the hospital, and Amit and Rohan came in deep shock. They never want to cause any harm to anyone. That day, the school was closed early, and everyone went home with a broken heart.
The next day, the principal entered their class and said, "Sabita Madam is in critical condition. Pray for her recovery. Among you, someone tampered with the lab chemicals. Whoever did this should come to my office and confess." The class was silent. Only Amit and Rohan knew the bitter truth and their faces turned pale.
After school, they went to the hospital. Seeing the condition of madam they felt deep regret. They said, "We made a terrible mistake. We must confess,".
They went to the principal’s office and confessed everything. The principal was furious. "You both are brilliant students, but your carelessness almost cost a life. I have no choice but to suspend you both." Hearing this, Amit and Rohan broke down in tears. They pleaded "We are so sorry, Sir. We never wanted to harm anyone,".
Later, they went back to the hospital and took care of Sabita Madam like family. Finally opened her eyes

and was surprised to see Amit and Rohan there. She smiled and weakly asked, "Why are you here?" They confessed everything and begged for madam’s forgiveness. She held their hands and said, "You are like my children. Parents always forgive their children's mistakes."
As she recovered, Amit and Rohan stayed by her side. One day, she visited their home and said, "I canceled your suspension. Promise me you'll never prank anyone again." They hugged her and promised, "Never again!"
