Hello my dear Steemians,

 

Last couple of weeks are very busy for me, both weeks I had 6 working days and I am desperately waiting for the weekend. Today I wanted to share my drawing or quick sketch that was a result of inspiration by the speech of German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius on the Munich Security Conference. If you do not know this Politician, please visit the video and you will also enjoy it.

I tried to do my sketch during last couple of days. Initially I thought to continue my drawing with details and more shading, but on other hand I thought to leave it like it is, because that reflects the whole style of drawing a quick sketch when only the distinct features of character will be captured and here it is.

What I like on sketching is the fact that if you manage to capture the main features of a person, I remember that when learning drawing I was told that one should pay a lot of attention of drawing eyes, if eyes will be done well then little inaccuracy of face will not make big difference.

My favourite part of drawing face nowadays ears, because of the shape of a shell and also you can see the letter “Y”, throughout the years there were different part of face that I loved to draw, of course, everything started with eyes, then it was time when I loved drawing nose, later on lips but now ears, it is strange that we often change our likes and dislikes like in real live.

Once I did this drawing I felt that I have to try to do regular my exercises not only to be better but also just because I really enjoyed it. So the next project might be on weekend.
