HWC-story01 : The Shadow of Deception
The Shadow of Deception:)
A heavy mist complicated roads in Malakand Pass when the crash took place. The vehicle of Raza Khan experienced a loss of control which caused it to drive off the road before falling into the ravine. Businessman Raza Khan died immediately when the accident occurred. Faizan Khan stood on the edge while gazing at the destroyed car. He showed a cunning expression by curling his lips up.
He spoke those words to himself while grasping the gift which he believed fate had given to him.

The grand haveli received Faizan when he entered wearing his brother Raza's shalwar kameez outfit. Reportedly the situation made Ayesha his sister-in-law shift into an ashen expression as she hurried toward him.
“Raza! Where were you? I was so scared.”
His speech became gentle to duplicate the tone of his brother's voice. “Just business in Peshawar. Got delayed.”
The youngster Daniyal swiftly appeared in front of him to pull on his pants leg. “Baba, where’s my toy truck?”
Faizan hesitated. Through his entire life he had shown no interest whatsoever in kids. He gave the boy a fake grin then blended his fingers through his hair. “I’ll bring you two, my son.”

The Cracks Appear
The period between then and now seemed unsettled because something felt different. Ayesha became aware of subtle alterations in his character including a stronger grip and deeper voice during prayers as well as his awkward manner of prayer.
At that evening she joined his side while maintaining a deliberate tone of voice. “You’ve changed, Raza. During previous times you always avoided karak chai.
Faizan laughed nervously. “Tastes change.”
But her eyes held doubt.
The Truth Unfolds
Ayesha learned that her fears were correct when Baba Gul the servant spoke about it.
“Bibi, this isn’t Raza Baba. His hands… they are rough. The leader of the family had hands that resembled an intellectual rather than an individual raised in challenging environments.
Ayesha’s stomach clenched. Her investigation of his possessions occurred during that night. The ID card belonging to Faizan appeared inside the drawer where no one had previously looked. Her hands trembled.
She confronted him. “Who are you?”
Faizan’s mask cracked. His face twisted with anger. “So what if I’m not Raza? This family wasted his wealth. I deserve this life.”
Ayesha’s voice was steel. “You will never be him.”
By dawn, the jirga elders arrived. Faizan was taken away.
As the sun rose over the valley, Ayesha held Daniyal close. “Your father is gone, but his truth will never fade.”

Hello respected @artist1111
I liked your story, you have portrayed Faizan's character very well, and this dialogue
"Faizan's mask was torn. His face was red with anger. "So what if I am not Raja? This family ruined his wealth. I deserve this life."
In this I see his frustration as well as some reality.
But no matter how clever the criminal is, some mistake of his gets him caught.
Thank you for sending a beautiful story.
