What if we visualize this platform as a company?
I was recently talking to someone about this platform and its ability to produce here. And we were talking about that particularity of having to see it as a medium or long term project. Yes, I know that most people want to see results at once, in a matter of days, because the volatility of cryptocurrencies makes many believe that any project related to these allows "get rich quick ", and this is far from reality. Of course, there are particular cases in which you get lucky and invest capital in a crypto and its price quickly goes to the moon, but it is not the norm.
There can be quite a lot of risk in these investments, so in the case of this platform I could say that there is a constant growth, not as fast as many wish, but being constant in the same way our main asset in the platform, our account, will also grow.

Having our capital at our disposal in our wallet gives us a certain level of confidence, because we have it at hand, protected with our passwords. At least for me this is a big plus.
Of course, having a large part of our capital in Stake is a good security measure, but it can delay a bit having all our capital at our disposal. 13 weeks to be exact, which is the time it takes to make a total powerdown.
Why do I talk about seeing this platform as a business?
Any business or company to grow requires a lot of time and dedication, to build it little by little, with a solid plan that must be worked daily, and thus be able to reach the top.
Such is the case of this platform, in which building an account with a great voting power can take years, unless you have a large capital to invest, but it is not the reality of most.
If we do analogy, we will realize that it is the same as when we want to build a business, it can become very successful, but the way to achieve it is not easy, it requires having a good raw material, in case it is a product that is offered, and of course to achieve a great product, so that it is bought.
But the contacts you manage to make in addition to the work team will have a positive impact on your company. In the case of this platform, it also requires a network of users who can comment, vote, support you in different ways so that over time you can achieve great things here, and of course, that your account grows daily and constantly.
But you have to give something for that to happen, in the case of a company you must offer a product or service that pleases to be sought. In the case of this platform we must, in addition to having good content, correspond with responses to comments left on our publications, in addition to generating a vote in favor of some publications that we like, a reblog, make comments that contribute, these are things that undoubtedly allow us to get closer to other users and projects.
I don't know if you agree with the analogy I have made in this publication, but I would like to know if you can add anything else, I will gladly read it in the comments.
Until my next post.

Hi @Josevas217,
I agree with you on this. But, we need to somewhere ask ourselves that what is the reason behind it, why people don't engage at the first pace?
I see these reasons why people comments:
Can we make a useful comment, if we are not interested in the content?
I think, very few people comment on random posts.
People tend to comment when they are eagerly waiting for a post.
We can bring that attention/eagerness from:
Contests - Where people will be eager to see what other person has to write on that topic.
Top To Bottom Approach
Activities - Where audience are engaged and given the power to select. Bottom to Top Approach.
Asking and open ended question also increases the engagement
Only when audience wants it, they will.
Personal Opinion.
As a viewer, I commented on this post as it connected with me, not because I needed an upvote or someone else wants me to make comment. I genuinely found this post Intriguing ( the engagement part)
Hello @knowledgefruit
Particularly this post has left some interesting comments. Truly.
They are interesting points of view.
I almost always leave some question in the development of the post, to arouse a little curiosity.
I think questions are inspiring sources of thoughts, sowing doubts through questions leads the mind to search for answers.
Thank you very much for your comment.
Very wise comment @knowledgefruit
I can summarize it by saying: KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE. This is what matters the most. Wouldn't you agree?
Cheers, Piotr
Yes, it pretty much summarize everything:
Thanks for the comment, @crypto.piotr
I think the idea of "get rich quick" is the reason many people get rekt in the crypto space. I think we should rather see it as a long term investment instead of just the immediate returns. Nice piece buddy
Getting into publishing to get rich is a great illusion of many. But then reality hits them hard. And they end up disenchanted.
you are absolutely right, when we seek to create an investment portfolio, constancy pays off over time, many people looking for quick profits get into a kind of cycle in which they invest, win and then lose money, they do this over and over again until they give up, on the other hand, constant people see their capital grow day after day and this growth comes hand in hand with new opportunities.
Hi @trabajosdelsiglo
We are in the same order of thoughts, it's like this, you have to be patient and constant. That ends up giving us great fruits, with time.
It is a very good analogy my friend, this platform can be seen as a company, as such, it needs investment, either capital or time, but it requires an investment. And the work has to be constant, as in a factory, you can not stop or production is paralyzed and customers go elsewhere, and certainly the allies are essential to grow.
The time investment, at least for those of us who dedicate ourselves to writing, is great. But beyond this there is also a group of people we don't know who are in charge of keeping the whole structure running.
It is a big gear in fact.
Thank you very much for your comment @emiliomoron
Hi @josevas217
It is perfectly applicable, seeing it as a company, particularly it would incorporate a community that is oriented to the training of the users that make life on the platform.
The topics or areas should be studied and previously evaluated to establish priorities and achieve planning of the activities and contents to be shared.
Best regards.
I think the platform lends itself to many things, it is a matter of organization so that new things arise based on the needs of each one of us.
Business, hmmmm.
Products:
NFT’s, Payment Processing, gaming, social networking, informative and encyclopedic content, advertisements, on platform applications, etc... These are a few things that come to mind as far as Steemit’s product line. The same products can be in the communities as well.
Financials and Business Operations:
Quarterly and Annual Income statements and Balance sheets. Projections for growth. New product lines and technology. Maintaining and expanding the platform and communities. Taking market share from legacy companies.
Direct investment and Debt Markets:
Having access to additional capital. Trading platforms. Using capital to build real world infrastructure projects to support the platform.
Anyway, good post @josevas217. I like your idea of running it like a real world business.
Wow, this comment sure is a great complement to what I meant in the post.
Thank you very much @fijimermaid
Seeing the platform as a global business, I think that allows it to grow, because we would focus on productivity, on good products, because we are not going to want to have low quality items in our company.
It would make perfect sense!, although I do not know if it was treated as a company, how much of its fundamental and core values would remain on the long run. I like this platforma precisely because of that: it provides a place to learn, connect, build community and all within a clearly defined set of values (you can see them and feel them in almost every post or in communities such as this one!) but from a biz standpoint, it would make perfect sense.
Good Idea José!
I hadn't thought that much about community values, but you're right, every single community has it. In a way the leaders of each of these large communities lead everyone to join in a shared social thinking around issues, values, etc.
Thanks @davidgutre for your great comment.
Dear @josevas217
This is very true. Which means that those who are focusing on reaching long-term goals, which require determinations, patience and time - those people have less competition :)
Ger rich quick scheme is indeed very popular in current days. It's kind of funny, since those who get rich quick usually lose their fortune very quickly as well (partly because tax office, which will go after them like a shark after bleeding body).
Great read. Thanks for your recommendation :)
Yours, Piotr
Thank you for your comment. And yes, generally people who make a lot of money quickly, lose it just as quickly. In general it is like that.
And thanks for the comment regarding the power down time, certainly, it is now 4 weeks.
Hello friend, I agree, I think it is a good comparison, we must see these platforms as our job, of course, a job that we like and in which we want to be successful, we must make quality content and bring growth to the platform or community in which we are, take care of our income and also our audience. You can not be successful overnight, but little by little we can achieve it. Greetings!
Wow the idea is good but , it will not be successful as their are many members here and we cannot provide them fixed salary.bit can work out for alternative options also for the growth.
