There has been no electricity in our office factory for the last few days; complete production has stopped. I have been working in this company for the last 10 years, but the factory has never been closed like this except for Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. The reason is that DPD is carrying out repairs at 33000 voltages. The factory is undergoing extensive repairs, and today we are doing a repair that will take two to three days to complete. This is the main roughing gear pinion of our rolling mill. This pinion was opened after a year. After opening this pinion, there was a problem with the bearing. The bearing must be purchased by today; otherwise, it will not work. The mill foreman was with our workers and engineers working on the pinium. Everyone was working together. A crane was used for this work.

At 3 pm, the foreman suddenly called me and told me that the hole in the bushing of the pinion was corroded and that it would have to be filled with brass to fill the gap. I was surprised to hear this. Because this cannot be done suddenly if you want. It takes a lot of time. However, a person has been called from outside, and how will the work be done? This pinium cannot be sent outside. It is very heavy. People will have to be brought in from an outside workshop to do the work. After bringing the outsider, he asked for 20,000 taka. He was taken to the office and made to pay. Our management said he could not be used for the work. Later, another person was used for the work, and in the end, his salary was only 5,000 taka.

On my way home in the evening, a man was selling vegetables in a van near the railway line. When I saw the type of vegetables, I thought they were fresh vegetables. So many fresh vegetables in the afternoon! I will buy some for my home after I go home today, because I don't have any vegetables at home. So, I thought my home was not that far. I bought fresh red cabbage and a gourd from the van. But relatively a little more.

On my way home with vegetables, a train from Narayanganj is going to Dhaka. An incident on this railway line has happened in my life. I am going home from the office, suddenly a train from Dhaka is going to Narayanganj, but I did not hear any sound of the train. I jumped out of the way just as the train approached me. I narrowly escaped. However, today the train was passing in front of me and the train's lights and horn were on. However, those who always come and go along the train line should look ahead and back before moving.
