It is a talent to be able to write stories, one has to have fantasy and love for story telling. On other hand as any skills one can work out this skill too and develop to its perfection. Hope to see interesting stories :)
I agree everyone can write stories just like we all can read them. With a bit of fantasy you can easily change them into something new. Is new always needed? No. For example the most famous fairytales have hundreds of different versions and they are still interesting.
The same we see with fiction, modern tales. Each one of them has parts of stories we already know and it's not plagiarism but allowed to write and even publish.
