Summer time is usually hot and often we have to do some work outside, like in garden, or maybe we have to be on the way to school. University or to work. Often we are on holidays and it is really hot there. Often our body can not get used to such hot temperatures if such change in temperature happens quickly. For example if you travel from cool climate into hot and getting off the plane. Many people even can have sun heat. When it is hot then our body needs to produce sweat so that we do not overheat and this way we are loosing water, that means our body could have dehydration and kidneys may suffer as they need water to function. Many people after rehydration can recover quickly too.
Often it is said that we should drink about 2 litres of water a day to keep you well hydrated in summer. We often forget that if we are not able to drink just water we could replace that with for example some fruits like watermelon, grapes, apples, oranges. The whole fruits have juices and there is also fluid in it, that we often forget to calculate that.
I love a lot of different fruits in summer, my favourite one is watermelon. I usually buy a large one and after cutting it in small pieces I put them into fridge and keep them cold. That is always a good drink and also snack something like twice a day. I also love ice cream in summer, we always have many different sorts of ice cream just for random snacks. From food point of view, I usually cook some soups because it is easy to cook and also easy to digest, friendly for stomach. The other food that I like in summer is barbecue with some vegetables.
Dehydration can make people very unwell, it will make people tired, no energy, headache and drowsiness, some people can become confused as our brain also will receive not enough hydration. Also kidneys will have not enough water and the function of kidneys will deteriorate. We know that kidneys are detoxication organs and if they do not work well then all toxins will remain in our body and that can make us very unwell and some people may die if the help will not come in time.

You have explained hydration very well. We should drink more water in summer and keep our body hydrated. You mostly eat watermelon in summer which is rich in water and has a lot of juice in it.We don't have oranges this summer, so we don't eat oranges. In Pakistan, the orange crop ripens in winter and its fruit is available throughout Pakistan in winter, while watermelon and other fruits are available in summer. Which we are enjoying now. We also sometimes eat watermelon for breakfast, and my mother doesn't let us drink milk after eating watermelon because drinking milk after eating watermelon can make us sick. I also love ice cream very much and my family and I sometimes go out for ice cream at night. Summer is currently underway in Pakistan and the temperature in summer in Pakistan remains above 45 degrees. Dehydration affects our body a lot. Due to dehydration, the body can experience fatigue, muscle pain, constipation and some other diseases. Therefore, we should drink as much water as possible and keep the body hydrated so that we can avoid these diseases. I enjoyed reading your post. Good luck for the contest dear.

Wow, that sounds very hot 45C in summer, I can imagine that people prefer to go out in teh evenings, when it is a bit cool and you must have a lot to drink. I hope you have plenty of juicy fruits, because just water can make even more thirsty :)
