RE: Memorable tradition reminds us who we are together

in CCC20 hours ago (edited)

If it comes to laterns, fire, light, wishing balloons, firework, it feels it's all a bit the same no matter where we are or live. Time to "scare" away the old ghosts (memories) and room for something new, better.

That error in my username always accompanies translations. I don't understand why.

It is not just the fact of carrying lamps, lighting them and etc., it is a belief that there is unity in families. It is also that the fact of having the food that gives them life is appreciated.
They meet and do a ritual that feeds their minds with optimism, that is the greatness of a people.

Sorry , it's the translated word (name). Now a days people have started carrying LED light lamps. With time every thing changes, but the togetherness remains.

These timeless traditions build strong communities. They help people know who they are. They also give life a deep purpose. Holding onto these customs makes sure they will last. They give a great gift to kids yet to come. Young people learn their past and feel like they belong.
