RE: Comment contest: Comment affairs #20: What do you enjoy most about steemit?
I enjoyed engaging with different people irrespective of where we came from. Steemit is a big market where different traders come to sell their goods; of course, it is what we all thought, but it seems all of us are beginning to see it a different way. The aspect I enjoyed in Steemit is that I learn from people, and they learn from me. You won't believe what I realized last week when I engaged with one of the users for the first time. We spoke about superstition, which I believe is as our community lives it. But why about others? What do they believe? Through engagement, she Opened up about her beliefs and why she felt it was the right thing to do. When we talk about Comments or engagement, a lot of users still find it difficult to do it.
I won't hesitate to mention my partner @emishael60, 🤣 but man I earn from it too. Not only earning, I learned.
If you asked me what I think we should improve on then I will say we still need to improve on engagement. I was expecting none of the comments from this comment contest but was surprised to see only @kwinbery; what's going on?
Hey @wakeupkitty what do you have to say?
This right here is the true spirit of Steemit, learning, unlearning, and growing together. 🌱
I completely agree with you. Steemit may have started as a space to “sell our ideas,” but it’s evolving into something deeper and more human, a space where cultures, perspectives, and beliefs meet. I love how your engagement about superstition turned into a moment of insight. That’s what happens when we really listen beyond our bubbles.
Engagement is not just about earning, like you said, it’s about connection. It makes us better writers, better thinkers, and better people. I’m also guilty of focusing on my posts sometimes and forgetting that real growth happens in the comments section.
Thank you for bringing this up. Let’s all do better.
Shoutout to @emishael60, engagement partner goals 😂
And yes, @wakeupkitty, we’re waiting for your thoughts too!
Much love to you all 💛
Lol, funny you.😂 I'm i really an engagement partner!!?😀😀.
However, as you said commenting might feel had at some point, but it's really necessary. With commenting you will get to interact with other people, which will be a source of becoming friends with strong bonds. As I'm saying already a victim of feeling hard in commenting. At the same time I'm over coming it too. I wish you to be that engagement partner goals too.😂
Haaaaa, that's interesting, I guess we are all getting better at that.
It's a gradual process.
Yes it is.
Are you sure about that, good to hear that. I want a report of how far you guys have gone on interaction next week?
Is it possible?
@peachyladiva
Let's see how it goes.
Yeah, you don't need to be guilty after all. I want the same situation too, but now I realize that making a post might make you visible, it doesn't compare to showing up in people's comments. You get to know someone when you ask questions, and from there you build a circle.
Maybe I will challenge you in engagement next week, see you around friend.
Awwn, I can't wait for the challenge, see you around, friend.
