Ofcourse I was spying and I was always checking the latest applications through the #steemreps2025 hashtag. No I will write different things on others application.
It took me alot of months before I made my first withdrawal in steemit, my parents were even glad to see that steemit has finally given me money after I spent so many months without withdrawing because I hardly get votes. After sometime I even learnt how to convert steem to my local currency by myself.
One month ago, not even three weeks ago, I never thought about being a witness.
Interesting, so when you finally thought of becoming a witness why did you try it immediately after the thought jumped into your mind?

I didn't try it immediately. I was asked and used those weeks to inform myself what it needs, will cost and what the best way is to keep the server running without blackouts and bad internetband lack of money. If there was no way to solve this it would still be a no.
For sure it will cost me more than it will bring me but that is fine. Unlike you I don't need it to keep a family alive. I also see it as a donation back to Steemit inc.
If you like something and receive it's normal to do something back and help to keep the system running. A system used to fill wallets and actually it surprises me that all those SRs who earned well and next powered down (again) never did this. The amount per month is not even 1/5 of what they receive for a weekly report. 🤔
