You have really made alot of contribution to the growth of steemit. From organizing lots of contests to curating steemians who comment alot and also steemians who aren't easily recognized. You have been supporting various projects in steemit which shows you are a very active steemian in this platform.

You finally became a witness in steemit too, I never expected something like that to happen this year and it seems you have more things to do this year that will amaze me too.

How come I am not surprised? 🤣 so will I and don't let me see you wrote the same to the others who applied!

I did a lot and the more I thought back, the more I remember. I also believe I go back to when I started my journey with a partner (not mainly writing in bed).

Back then I also didn't belong to a club and never received the upvotes from whales others begged for, crawled for and received. Not to mention the upvote bots. My first withdraw try took over 1 year and the one who explained thought I was kidding as I said I had no clue how to do it. I know how many relied on someone doing this for them. This is not what I wanted. If you start something you should be able to do your finances.

Back then Steem was more common and posts were visible. Today both is negative and the whole idea about crypto is the oppisite of what was preached.

One month ago, not even three weeks ago, I never thought about being a witness. I hoped for others to jump in. Those with more power and way more income but it seems that what is doable for me is too expensive for them.

I might be the unwanted witness and work against other's plans to grow wealth and dominate but I keep the server running and unlike many I can say I gave my best for Steemit without the focus on filling my pockets (de aard van het beestje) I just do what I like to do —it's a good thing there are more cats and nore lives and the same counts for Steemit. I see plenty of ways to make it rock all that is needed is a positive wave and awareness that out of nothing, nothing will grow let alone bloom.

Ofcourse I was spying and I was always checking the latest applications through the #steemreps2025 hashtag. No I will write different things on others application.

It took me alot of months before I made my first withdrawal in steemit, my parents were even glad to see that steemit has finally given me money after I spent so many months without withdrawing because I hardly get votes. After sometime I even learnt how to convert steem to my local currency by myself.

One month ago, not even three weeks ago, I never thought about being a witness.

Interesting, so when you finally thought of becoming a witness why did you try it immediately after the thought jumped into your mind?

I didn't try it immediately. I was asked and used those weeks to inform myself what it needs, will cost and what the best way is to keep the server running without blackouts and bad internetband lack of money. If there was no way to solve this it would still be a no.
For sure it will cost me more than it will bring me but that is fine. Unlike you I don't need it to keep a family alive. I also see it as a donation back to Steemit inc.

If you like something and receive it's normal to do something back and help to keep the system running. A system used to fill wallets and actually it surprises me that all those SRs who earned well and next powered down (again) never did this. The amount per month is not even 1/5 of what they receive for a weekly report. 🤔

Yes you have come a long way, and you have done very well.

We had a fun time at CCC, it was a good project, just a pity we were mainly drained. Did you notice those we helped are rich Steemians today? It's interesting how they forget how they started and never thought about doing something back.

Si que lo recuerdo amiga. También al igual que ahora dimos nuestros propios recursos para ayudar a los más pequeños a crecer. Ni siquiera he podido ver con frecuencia a muchos de los que participaron en nuestros concursos. Muchos están muy por encima de mi, en reputación.

CCC sigue ahí. @freedomshift aparentemente me introdujo como la cuenta de reinicio. Voy a ver si podemos hacer algo con esto y de lo contrario la cuenta wakucat se puede utilizar para los comentarios y compromisos. Definitivamente también hay gente que quiere hablar sin pagar por ello. La reputación de una cuenta solo sube si se cabrea, no se reciben comentarios y se reciben upvotes. Las publicaciones con más comentarios también tendrían más probabilidades de llamar la atención.

En Venezuela hay "botes (barcos) pequeños" a los que les colocan dos motores, y se desplazan muy rápido en el mar. Así te visualizo:

Eres un bote pequeño que tiene dos motores "fuera de borda": uno se llama "ganas de concretar ideas"; el otro se llama "compromiso y amor por lo que se hace".

A platform like Steemit is an unique place where we can meet so many people, everyone unique, there are more niches and skills than we can imagine. There's also a lot of loneliness. Why not wandering around, read a few today, share a few words, have a laugh?

Everyday I discover something new, learn something and people keep surprising me. All good food for the mind. And you know what? I made my best friends through Steemit and they are there since years even if nit oresent here.

The only minus can be it's can be addictive.
