When You See One Of These............. NW Cascade Wanderings
When you see one of these, you know it’s spring! This afternoon, I spotted my first Trillium of the season and in our own forest to boot! I’ve been watching for them as we have this little creek…….
…..that runs along the front of our property, and each spring, there’s a small area where the Trillium grow. It’s slowly expanding as Trillium are rhizomes. They share a root system just like Aspen trees and stinging nettles do. I was happy to see it. 😊
My day began at ladies Bible study where we picked back up on Mark, chapter seven. We had taken a few weeks off on a bunny trail regarding worship. Afterwards, a quick stop at the grocery and post office and I was back home. I spent some time on FFL which has changed names to The Holy Mess. Once the April workbook was organized, I did some laundry.
Late in the afternoon, @silvertop and myself went for a hike. Enjoy the eye candy!
I found a Woolley Worm out and about. I moved him out of the road into safety.
The Myrtle is in bloom and very purple!
You can tell just how big these trees are by looking at how small they make @silvertop look!
Pepe took over my hiking poles, lol!

Despite someone’s best efforts, they have not managed to eradicate this Pussy Willow tree from the pond’s edge.
We visited Adam’s active beehive. I took a video and here’s to hoping this one loads tonight.
They were very busy little bees!🐝
