Sunshine.............🌞NW Cascade Wanderings

Today morphed into a beautiful sunny day! It was cold this morning, leaving a light coating of crystallized ice on every surface, including parking lots! Why mention this? Well first off, although seeing it everywhere, it surprised me nonetheless when I arrived at ladies Bible study. Normally, I wouldn’t have given it a thought. However, I was wearing the shoes I wear at work which are a long discontinued Dansko nurses clog. They are hard soled and perfect for ice skating-if you’re into that, lol, which I’m not! I very slowly stepped from the car to the church entrance praying as I went, that I’d remain upright! God was watching over me and I made it without mishap! To fall with all the stuff that’s been plaguing my right hip and abdomen, might just spell disaster for me! 🙀

The study was a continuation of worship; how it looks and what besides music and singing are examples of it. Once the class was done, I slowly made my way back to the car as there was still a large area protected by shade that was icy. Dodged another one! 😅

Once home, we headed out mid afternoon for a hike. In our driveway, there were places that don’t get the sun this time of year, as there was a heavy crystallized frost still on the ground! ❄️

I’m trying not to over do as I over-cycled yesterday. 🙄I’ve been paying the price since. 😏

You might would think that with all the Hoof Fungus on the trees around here, they’d be getting on down the trail! Check these beauties out!

That’s it for today. I’m hoping to get in bed by 10-ish tonight. Wednesdays are always an early and long day!
