Sunday Tranquility............... NW Cascade Wanderings
Sunday always begins at church. The church has been decorated for Christmas. There are a couple of large trees in the vestibule, and that first picture is what the sanctuary looks like. The sermon and worship was excellent. Our pastor is very human and often puts a bit of a comical twist in every now and again!
Once we got home, I started laundry and got a few things around house done. I removed my fall decor indoors and am now ready to get the Christmas end of it done. I also went outside and removed all my scarecrows. They are drying in the garage so I can pack them away soon. I also moved the pumpkins. I needed a wheelbarrow to do that as there are so many of them! I only found two of the 35 that were soft and rotten. All the others are sound thus far, so I moved them closer to the house. I took a few and strategically place them near the forest’s edge hoping that as they decompose, the seeds will take root next spring and I’ll have a decent pumpkin patch!
Later in the afternoon, I met up with Jan to hike to the garden. @silvertop went ahead of us because of his nerve issue. Here’s some eye candy from my adventure!
It was an unusual day as the sun was shining! It’s been a while since we’ve seen the sun!🌞
Tomorrow is Monday. I’m not exactly sure of our plans at the moment, but I thinking we might head to Lynden. Might have ourselves a coffee date!
That’s gonna be it for now. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌎🙏

Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct.
