Now I’ll grant you, the two geese and the seagull are of a different feather, but they still have a lot in common like webbed feet, can fly and swim.
It’s Monday and it’s raining ( wasn’t there a song about that?) and there’s not much happening here. We got up this morning and did the usual coffee and stationary bike thing. The weather stopped long enough for me to put out 2 new strand of bee 🐝 garden lights and a wind spinner. The lights are solar so I’ll have to wait to see if they’re working or not. Soon afterward, the rain began again. Along about mid afternoon, we decided to go for a hike which promptly opened the heavens up again! So I got my bumbershoot and off we set. We went up to the bench that was broken about a month ago. See @silvertop’s post for Pepe’s update.
Since it’s difficult to hike with poles, a bumbershoot and a camera, I left the poles at home and wasn’t too interested in taking pictures as I have more Boulevard Park photos to share instead!
Sailing….. it takes me to where I’ve always heard it could be…….(an old song from the early 80’s)

Eventually summer will catch us unawares as that’s how it works here. One day, someone flips a switch and you go from full on rain and cool to blazing hot and humid without acclimating at all. It’s not a lot of fun for sure!
However, I’m glad for the weather regardless of what it is.
