RE: Special Museums in Vienna (1) // Spezielle Museen in Wien (1)

Nice tour of the museums of globes, chocolate, and music instruments! Among them, I love the "museum of chocolate" most as I "have a sweet tooth", like you. Yeah! I'm a chocolate lover... ;))

It would be really good to learn all kinds of interesting facts about chocolate; i.e. the history, the process, the working equipment, etc. Um! And it would be very great if we can taste some of the chocolate at the end of the tour. ;)

In the museum of the musical instruments, I especially like the ancient piano and the nail violin. Very magnificent indeed!

Thanks so much for sharing. ;)

So you are a chocolate lover too! :) In the SchokoMuseum you really have to be careful that you don't give in to all the sweet temptations on offer. Otherwise you are guaranteed to have a stomach upset. ;)

It was really very interesting to learn more about the history of the cocoa bean. For example, I didn't know that cocoa beans were a proven means of payment among the Maya and Aztecs. So a slave cost 100, or a rabbit 10 beans. When the Spaniards conquered Mexico they allegedly found over 1000 tons of cocoa beans in the palace of the Aztec ruler Moctezuma!

I also like the nail violin very much. There were still so many beautiful instruments there. The craftsmanship at that time was great!

Thank you very much for coming with me on my museum tours! :)

You are much welcome! ;)

Yeah! We both are chocolate lovers! Ah! I'll try to be careful about that..... but before my "stomach" feels upset, my "heart" would probably feel really happy if I eat the chocolate as much as I can. ;)))

Oh! Many thanks for providing me more information about the history of the cocoa. Very interesting! I haven't known it before. ;)
