I think I've seen beetles like this here too. Well, we have all kinds of scorpions, insects, and whatnot. This is a sandy place and harbors plenty of wildlife. The size and shine alone would keep me from getting that crunch after stepping on it. No, I don’t panic—unless it’s crawling inside my shirt. In that case, you’d hear me screaming from the moon!
