RE: Stilvoll beleidigen

hahaha very interesting the book you read, I have always thought that there are many ways to insult, sometimes you can insult a person so politely that he does not even realize that you have insulted him.

As for the answers, the best thing would be to ignore it, but of course it depends a lot on the insult and the time or place where you are, sometimes you can just ignore the person who insults and this would be the best, because if you answer and then he says something else, they both dig and dig and make a big hole that they might not get out of, so sometimes it's better to leave it that way. This is why the Confucius student's opinion is one of my favorites here:

"The saint forgets an insult, the wise think about it, the idiot seeks revenge".

Haha, thank you so much for your comment!
I extremely rarely offend anyone - well, maybe unintentionally - and when I do, it's in the polite way.... ;-) I use vulgar expressions only in soliloquy or in the presence of very good friends.
Confucius was very wise and so was his student. I stick to the ancient Chinese... ;-)
Thanks for stopping by,
warm regards,

I don't like to offend people either, but I do know people who live offending others, unintentionally and willingly...

have a nice day :)
