A beautiful morning walk on the Rideau Trail.

A very beautiful sunny morning here on the Rideau River. Sun was shining and the air was cool and crisp.

As usual Lola wanted to walk off leash to explore the trail. We walked for about 10km this morning.

Now Lola is taking a nap. I’m hoping we can get back out on the trail later today for another 10 km ….

The Tamaracks are yellow now and will soon drop all their needles … a sure sign of the approaching winter.
