RE: Weekly Steem Stats Report - Monday, April 6, 2020

in Steem Statistics5 years ago

That's a dramatic drop in activity even with various people generating junk posts to milk rewards as they power down. The actions of Steemit and their puppet witnesses and driving people away. They could not even come up with an idea on their second day of 100 posts of ways to improve Steem after the first post just announcing that they were doing it. It's sad to eee the decline what could have been great. At least we have somewhere else to go.

Sort:

@steevc... IT'S SCUM-BAG-DOWN-VOTERS LIKE YOU WHO DESTROYED STEEMIT...

Literally ROFL. Did you still not get that the platform is Steem? Go chat up Justin.

Live long and prosper :D

That doesn't change the fact, that I think you're a Scum-Bag-Down-Voter...

And I don't give a shit what you think of me. You really need to focus on something more positive. Given the world situation Steem should be the least of your worries.

Love xxxx

Just look what you helped cause...

I was ATTACKED, and now "you" and the "other" Scum-Bag-Attackers are Paying for it...

Noticed the changes as well and I think this is dramatic for the Steem chain. I have the feel most of the curator groups are gone, next to many of the dApps as well as some of the sister-chains created with an earlier version of Steem UI. I do hope Steem will find its ways to grow again. Unfortunately the Steem witnesses drew the next wave of bashing upon themselves by the softfork executed last weekend. Steemit Inc is not doing a lot better, to state they are independent regarding the softfork, but the top 20 witnesses got kicked out immediately after some of them expressed their vote against the softfork.

I really HOPE TRON and Steemit Inc and Steem Witnesses and the Steem community members can all join hands, and rebuild what has been destroyed and find the ways to improve and become better again. I would hate to see Steem being destroyed :(

Steemit is just throwing their weight around. Nobody else gets a say in who the witnesses are. Freezing the assets of users is just ridiculous. I did not totally agree with the old witnesses doing that, but felt we could trust them to not do it indefinitely. It was just a bargaining chip against a possibly hostile force. The latest action is just revenge.

I thought Steem had a great future, but events have proved it was vulnerable to attack by the Steemit stake. Hive is not perfect either, but has more of a spread of stake.

You never know how things can turn around.

follow back mate

I guess you are new on Steem. It's not really about 'follow back'. I'm selective about who I follow. In any case I have moved to the Hive fork of Steem as things are going downhill here since Justin Sun bought out Steemit. You can still try to build a following, but do it with relevant comments and real interaction. Good luck.
