woke up in the morning. Then I brushed my teeth. I washed my hands and face and freshened.

Another edit:

After waking up, I brushed my teeth first, then I washed my hands and face and went to my room to freshen up.

In case, you forget the right order of things...

So is it brushing your teeth, first or washing your hands?

I am very particular about the order. I'm confused now... And yes, it matters!
