You are absolutely right. Many steemians post their content and leave without engaging with others, which makes meaningful interaction difficult. I also want to share something, I once commented on a post with a question, but the author only replied with a simple thanks. It made me wonder whether they actually read my comment or were just responding for the sake of it.
Some users seen uninterested in engaging or building connections. You expressed everything transparently, describing exaclty what is happening.
Thank you so much for mentioning me and I will always support this community for engaging and making connections.
I hope people will understand these things.
I don't just seek support in the form of upvotes, I genuinely want to improve my posts so I can create content that people truly enjoy reading. My goal is to share meaningful and engaging content and for that I welcome the valuable feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Wooow. That’s so lovely to hear from you. It’s really a menace that should be considered. Making good and quality comments is as encouraging and we Ll should put heads together to see it come to fruition.
As for this
I thought I was alone in it. What do you think, sometimes I tend to draw their attention to it. Do you think it would have been rude to tell that user that you asked a question and ask if he or she even read your comment?
The last one I talked about, I simply left it because I feel the user would be embarrassed If I go telling her that she didn’t read the post hence made an off comment. But on a second thought I feel am wrong for keeping quiet cos it would keep proliferating same attitudes. What do you say to that? Do we correct them or just overlook their complacency?

Actually, it can happen once, and we might think that maybe the perosn did not want to answer the question for some reasons. But it happens repeatedly, it becomes a sign of ignorance.
In my opinion, we can try to correct them, but they still choose not to respond then there is nothing we can do.
Ultimately it is their choice whether to engage or not.
But we always make an effort from our side to ensure that everyone stays connects, helping the community grow. When people engage and support each other, it creates a positive and encouraging environment for everyone.
Some people want their content to be read with genuine interest and enjoyment. So it is important that we support and encourage them. Engaging with their posts meaningfully not only motivates them but also strengthens the sense of community.
I also love to engage with people and I support the good content.
Thank you so much I hope this post makes a great impact and encourages people to appreciate meaningful engagement.

Well said friend. You’ve captured it all. Am glad to know that there are people like you who is willing to promote and uphold quality engagement. Thank you so much for stopping by…steem on
You are always welcome.
@nidhu sincerely your goal should be the goal of every member of this platform, that way everyone of us will always work towards delivering meaningful post that someone else can learn from and not just to post for upvote.but my opinion to this post issue is that a lengthy post is usually not easy to read through considering the number of contest that one wishes to meet up ,so if we can have moderate post in length it will definitely attract readers attention.in addition, some of us have our various working places, coming back from work then fixing your eyes on your phone over a long write-up before you start your own post is so challenging
I really wish people can open up so that the challenge of not reading and commenting on post can really be handled
You are absolutely right and we truly appreciate your suggestion.
You said well, reading a lengthy post is not easy. Maybe we did not comment on other posts, but if someone takes the time to comment on your post, it becomes our responsibility to reply so that the other person doesn't feel ignored. That is my point- I am not forcing anyone to comment, but engagement is the key to everyone's growth.
Thank you so much for sharing your concern. I like it that people actually doing discussion on this.
You are right, engagement all the way.thanks too for your time
You are always welcome
