Hi Ron, it's good to see you again.
You know how to brighten up the place.
I would love to hear when you decided to spread your art among the lovers in the unique way you do.

In the Netherlands you find art in hospitals, doctor's offices (never the dentist), theatres, cinemas (all private with us) and I wonder if that is the case with you. Also if your paintings can be found there or for example at (primary) schools (which starts with us at the age of 4). Imagine how this could have a positive impact on the development of childrens' activating their skills.
A bit more colour wouldn't harm the average school either.

A good weekend and I hope you join the contest "the face of 2024"

Hi Wakeupkitty,

I’ve been writing and painting for years, but didn’t take up art “professionally” until about 2013. I schooled both of my daughters until their entrance in high school. Their lives and personalities provided so many ideas and much content for art practice.
Today I have solo exhibits at least twice a year, and maintain a website to show and sell work (except for this year, of course:))
I am connected with the Stuckist art movement and recently with the Black Ivory Printmaking and Audio Club.
I have some success showing work in coffee shops and bars, however, my paintings are not a big hit with institutions—hospitals, doctor’s offices, theaters, etc...
My oldest daughter is an arts administrator for an elementary school (ages 5 - 12) that focuses on the arts. She is very aware of the positive impact of art for youth. I had a show a couple years ago where I donated half of the profits to her school.
I get up in the morning to paint nearly every day. My only problem with art is its distribution. The studio is too full!
Thank you for the kind words. I hope you are well. I will look into this “the face of 2024”.
