Hello great member of the *account booster community
Special thanks to @seo-boss for creating this amazing community. I’m great full of the rank given to me and each other. I’m hoping to reach a higher rank soon.
I want to share with you all a realistic pencil portrait of a young lady that I finished. This art is very precious to me since it took me lots of time and energy because I wanted to draw exactly what I saw on the photo.
MATERIALS
Charcoal powder
Graphite pencils
Brushes
Tissues
Eraser
Spray
typical picture of my materials;
STAGE 1:
I made a quick basic outline sketch using my staedler 5B pencil.
to me, this is always a rough stage of which I always focus on just few basic lines. Others will be considered when I commence shading
STAGE 2:
I commence a tedious shading of her face using charcoal powder, pencils and brushes.
I observed all the basic shapes and tones thereby ensuring that I have achieved them all.
Done with her face
STAGE 3:
I proceeded to her hair and cloth. This point took me more time than her face because I had to use the charcoal carefully in order to avoid staining the background. I sprayed it as well.
This spray is called fixative. It prevent an art from erasing
Done with it
STAGE 4:
I checked resemblances
