Tomatoes are one of the common fruits we normally use in our cooking. These seed fruits have a lot of health benefits that are good for us. Although some nutritionists classify it as a vegetable due to its common use in different kinds of meals, some people can also eat it raw and testify that they enjoy it because it is very sweet. Tomatoes are an amazing fruit which helps prevent heart diseases; many studies show that tomatoes contain vitamin C which supports the immune system to fight against harmful bacteria. The tomatoes we are talking about are mainly transported to our state from the northern part of the country because of availability, and many people venture into this business to survive.

اپ نے جو تصویر کھینچی اور ٹماٹر کے جو حوائد بتائے وہ واقعی بہترین ہیں میرے لیے یہ جان کر بہت حیرانی کا مقام تھا کہ ٹماٹر میں وٹامن سی ہوتا ہے۔مجھے ذاتی طور پر بھی ٹماٹر بہت پسند ہے اور میں اپنے بچوں کو تقریبا ہر کھانے میں ٹماٹر کھلانا پسند کرتی ہوں میرے بچے ایک کچا ٹماٹر کھانا پسند نہیں کرتے اس وجہ سے میں اس کو سالن میں اور چاولوں میں ڈال کے پکا لیتی ہوں۔

We use blend tomatoes almost every week to make stew and eat with yam or white boiled rice. They taste really good. Or we can just cut them into cubes and make sauce.
The northern part of Nigeria is where tomatoes are cultivated in large farmlands suitable for marketing. Down here, we buy them from the north as you said.
