The Steemit Crypto Academy is now into the fourth week of Season 2.

We are pleased to see the standard of homework tasks increasing week by week.

It is definitely worth spending the time and effort researching and preparing your posts.

Not only can you earn good votes from @steemcurator02 if your homework posts meet the required standard, but each professor selects three top posts each week for an extra 10% vote from @steemcurator01.

Good effort earns more rewards !

Homework Guidelines

We are keen to ensure that all contributions to the Steemit Crypto Academy are of as high a standard as possible.

While the Crypto Professors may set specific requirements for some of their homework tasks we would suggest all students follow these basic guidelines…

  • Title the post with the format - Crypto Academy Week 12 - Homework Post for [name of Crypto Professor] …
  • Homework posts should be at least 300 words
  • All work should be your own - plagiarism will not be tolerated
  • Any graphs, screenshots, quotes etc used from other sources should be fully referenced
  • Any images used should be from copyright-free sources and fully referenced
  • Homework posts should include the tag #cryptoacademy and any tag specifically required by the Crypto Professor in the first five tags. It will also be good to include a tag for your country.
  • Tag the relevant Crypto Professor to help them find your homework post.

Please make sure you send your homework posts into the Crypto-Academy community…

Homework posts should be submitted no later than 11.59pm UTC, on Saturday, May 8th 2021. Note this is one day earlier than usual.

Please check each Professor’s post carefully for any special instructions they have given for their homework task. Once you have completed your homework post make sure you leave a link on the Professor’s post to ensure they see it.

Following all these guidelines carefully will help you gain higher vote rewards for your homework posts.

New Voting Rules for Season 2

To encourage people to do more research and put more effort into producing higher quality homework posts @steemcurator02 will now only be voting on posts that achieve a grade of 5 out of 10 or above from the Professor.

Additionally to discourage ‘content farming’ from multi-accounts set up purely to harvest votes from the Crypto Academy @steemcurator02 will only consider giving votes on homework posts submitted by people with reputations of 50 or above.

If you are new to Steem we suggest you join the Newcomers Community and do the Achievement Tasks there to get to know the platform and build up your reputation before joining the Crypto Academy…

To further discourage content farmers who commonly power down and cash out on a continual basis we will not, at our discretion, be voting on any posts from authors who are powering down.

Additionally to further discourage content farming and to encourage Academy students to build more of a stake in the platform we are introducing one further rule this week. We will not, at our discretion, be voting on posts from authors who do not have at least 100 SP in their wallet due to constant selling of the rewards from their homework posts.

The Steemit Crypto Academy community

The Crypto Academy community is ONLY for posts to do with the courses being run by the Crypto Professors…

Alongside the course posts from the Crypto Professors, the only other posts in the Steemit Crypto Academy community should be homework posts for the tasks set by the professors.

Please do not post general crypto related posts now in the Steemit Crypto Academy Community. Any non-Academy posts may be muted.

We hope as many of you as possible will join in with the Steemit Crypto Academy courses and do the homework tasks set by the Crypto Professors. You are free to follow as many of the courses as you want.

In this second season of the Academy we will be putting a greater emphasis on improving the quality of the homework posts.

We will also be putting even more resources into curbing plagiarism, content farming and other abuse.

We are keen for the Steemit Crypto Academy to provide a high quality learning opportunity for those willing to put in the effort to expand their knowledge and understanding of the world of cryptocurrencies.

Thank you

The Steemit Team

Please need a clarification on the last part of the new voting rules, assuming my reputation is above 50 and my total Steem Power have not reached 100SP though I have never withdrawn any reward from my wallet. Will I be voted for?

Well done - you seem to have reached 100 SP now.

Greetings @steemcurator01 from Venezuela, I am a lover of cryptocurrencies, present my work in a class this week, it lasted a whole day to present it, the problem is that the teacher denied me because I did not have 100 sp, before publishing my wife delegated me what I was missing but even so the teacher did not validate my publication, I investigated and in the other classes of the week there are classmates who do not have the 100 sp or even delegates and their tasks were reviewed and received punctuation. What is this about? How would I be able to participate in the crypto-academy? I tried to sell my sbd to buy sp but they are very few and it is not enough for me. greetings @daniromero.

Hello @ steemcurator01, I have never done power down, I have a reputation of 52 years, I have been cured only 4 times if I remember correctly, the tasks have not been cured and I have a score of 7, the cryptocurrency task is not even I look at the professor, I used the money from the healings to learn how to do real trading on poloniex and Binance, I have done power up, and the SP does not go up. WHAT SHOULD I DO? I ASK YOU WITH ALL RESPECT TO VERIFY MY ACCOUNT, I WANT TO CONTINUE LEARNING AT THE CRYPTOACADEMY, BECAUSE MY IDEA IS TO TRADING PROFESSIONALLY! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I wish I could take part in this educational community event. But I will work hard to get my reputation to reach 50. Then I will come and participate in these events.

By the way, can I complete these assignments and post them when my reputation has reached 50, does that work? @steemitblog

Problem solved - reputation now 50 😊

Respect @steemitblog
Respect professor @alphafx

Here I have completed the assignment last week and you have given a 9 there, and indeed the post still has the next 2 days to get votes, I am aware of the busyness and enthusiasm of the Steemian in this academy, but the reason I report now is because I am afraid that the results of my hard work will not get up vote from the Steemit team.

Thank u very much "Steemit team and Professor"

Yours sincerely @sayaalan

https://steemit.com/hive-108451/@sayaalan/steemit-crypto-academy-week-11-homework-post-for-professor-alphafx-about-trading-and-holding-two-sides-of-a-coin

I think all contestants who meet the requirements will receive an upvote, and I always receive an upvote on the 6th day, but I don't regularly attend classes because I am busy farming in the garden.

Sorry I just shared the experience and didn't mean anything else, moreover @sayaalan is a great Academy Crypto Student. There are many things I have to learn from you.

I want to thank u vry much for u'r feedback on my comments, all things can be learned on steemit, i also learned a lot from u, u publish great photos there, @irawandedy are a great photographer. U also help many people by doing charity.

However, I am aware of the busyness and enthusiasm of the Steemians in this academy, I have seen some outdated posts, and got no votes.

For example, we take the example of the @abdulsabor post,

https://steemit.com/hive-108451/@abdulsabor/steemit-cryptoacademy-re-submitted-homework-task-or-or-season-2-or-or-week-2-or-or-for-voting-to-professor-stream4u-or-price

IMG_20210504_204622.jpg

That's what I read in the comments column, the reason why he reposted it☝

Next, When I read some of the comments from the steemians who participated here I also found many similar things.

I don't blame anyone here, as I said earlier that:

I am aware of the busyness and enthusiasm of the Steemian in this academy, but the reason I report now is because I am afraid that the results of my hard work will not get up vote from the Steemit team.
