Hi Barbara, thank you for this trip to Yvoire, in Haute-Savoie, France. I have never being in France but read a lot of literature and seen of course in movies, the books of Alexandre Dumas were my favorite when I was 12 and reading the description of the places I always could good imagine how they look like. Also Luckily there are many good movies where we can see the beauty of old Architecture. This place of Yvoire seems to be a real gemstone that is so well preserved and people still taking a care to keep it as in original condition. Love all those old buildings and it might be so exciting to enter these little boutiques and shops. I am really pleased to see how many tourists are there so people's hard work in preservation their history are paid off.
