Why Are Eggs Back on the Breakfast Menu and Could Save Your Life?
Are you unsure whether eggs are healthy? You're not the only one who feels this way. In the health community, these grocery store mainstays have been like ping-pong balls. They're good at first, then bad, and then good again.
The journal Molecular Nutrition and Food Research published a study that found a link between eating eggs every day and a lower risk of type 2 diabetes. After checking the blood work of over 200 people for two decades, they made the revelation. Those who ate more eggs had a lower risk of developing diabetes.
According to the American Diabetes Association, type 2 diabetes affects roughly one out of every ten Americans, making it the sixth largest cause of death.
