RE: MORE projected projects, garden update, and minnow development
Oh man that's some seriously racy stuff!! Your Okra looks amazing, it made my heart accelerate haha!
Life hasn't permitted me to make much progress in the garden over the past week or so. Jeeze, I have needed to finish cutting the lawn for a week. in the center there is our okra, still indoor and surrounded by ginger, brussels sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower.
We have several spots we have spoke about having it in the yard, but I haven't gotten to it.
Our weather isn't nearly as warm, and consistently as yours. It was 30 degrees (86 f) when we planted our potatoes. Elin (my wonderful wife) insist that we cover the potatoes ooh and broad beans with straw to protect them from burning.
I was not so excited to do that, and pouted the whole time that I did. But it did help to keep the moisture in i think. Do you need more ground cover?
our cucumbers don't seem to be working this year either. WE just got some squash up, corn is coming in good in the garden, but not in the food forest much at all.
It's awesome that you guys own, it means the work you put in, YOU benefit from long run. AND you don't need permission for as much!
With welding, you could fashion quite the grill/fire pit in the yard, no?
That one tray is probably more productive than one of my whole beds lol
