I never had the chance to play games like this or D&D, mainly because they weren't a big thing where I live, but I couldn't help but imagine how it would've helped my creativity. I used to just craft universes from a blank slate, maintaining them for years. Look at me speaking as if it were the past. It could've gone either way though. I could've easily been burnt out by everything instead of further flexing my creative muscles.
