I always ask little kids if they think there will ever come a time in their lives when poop isn't funny. 100% of the time they answer NO. Seems every kid loves poop and they fully expect it is not a passing phase. Looks like you have a war story to tell lol.
I was helping out with watching a bunch of 5 year old kids, and they thought drawing of a butt was the funniest thing in the world. It was really just a circle with a line down the middle, but they laughed forever.
