Workout - 6/20/2018 (LEGS!)
Everyone's favorite - LEG DAYYYY!!!
Hey friends!
Here's a workout you can try to really torch your legs without equipment. This will get your heart rate up, burn fat, and make walking the next day a fun little challenge ;)
Our clients hate/love when we run a leg-heavy workout like this for them, but in order to build shapely, lean legs, everybody knows you've gotta work them and work them HARD!
So give this workout a shot, make time to cool down and stretch afterward, and drink LOTS of water... A hot epsom salt bath never hurt anybody either!
Warm up: "FLOWER"
*"Flower" is a song by Moby - you can find it on YouTube here and listen, it will tell you what to do. Basically whenever the song says "down" you will drop down into a squat, holding the bottom position of the squat at full depth (butt at knee level) until the song says "up" and you can come up into a standing position until it says "down" again... It's a fun one!
Workout
AMRAP 30:00
- 80 criss-cross foot taps
- 70 sumo squats
- 60 high knees
- 50 curtsy lunges
- 40 jumping jacks
- 30 squat jumps
- 20 step up to high knee
- 10 split squats per leg
*AMRAP is an acronym that stands for As Many Rounds (or Reps) As Possible - so for this workout, you will complete the exercises in their prescribed amounts, in order, as many times as you can within this 30 minute window. If you get through it all and have time to spare, start back up at the top and begin again. Some of you may even get a couple of rounds! Ending in the middle of a round is totally fine when the 30 minutes is up - don't stop early if you think you can't get through another full round. Keep on going - the more reps, the merrier!
Let me know if you try this out - it's a lot of leg love in a short amount of time!
If you're just starting to work out, or just returning to exercise after a break, feel free to decrease the time, reps, or effort level as needed - meaning that there's no shame in scaling! It's never worth it to hurt yourself, so be careful!

people often ignore leg excercise here in my area
Tons of people forget about led day but it is sooo important!

It is also better if we use weights for burning our glutes and try to push our limits in few reps (heavy weights with less reps) to grow bigger and stronger.
