RE: NO PIZZA JOINTS, NO PROBLEM, #foodfightfriday

in #fff6 years ago

Haha… major heat blasts to the face. We all know exactly what you’re talking about. That pizza looks fantastic @thebigsweed. We don’t eat cheese and meat but that pizza looks frikken delish. Great entry my friend. I have to say though, a little disappointed you didn’t make your own dough from the yeast you’ve been growing in your side yard. I’d half way expect to see you churning corn to make the flour (or however one makes flour 🤷🏼‍♀️). With that small glare I’d still venture to say this post is a winner. Great job Chef!

P.s. shhhh, I know all about wearing the chefs hat trick :)

Thanks for the compliment on the pizza that was frikkin delicious
When we first met I did not feel it was right to ask this question, now that we are buds I figure I can fire away.
How long has if been since you have eaten a good old medium well done burger on a potato bun with lettuce, tomato, a couple slices of Bread and Butter pickles, no onion thanks, mayo, and some extra ketchup on the side for dipping. Last personal question is, was there one singular event that triggered your present diet.
No churning corn for flower, or yeast growing in the side yard. 😁😁😁
Yeah, about the chef's hat thing, we won't tell a soul. I'm a quick study though.
Not bad going from IMG_0904.JPG
To wiping up meals like this IMG_0385 (1).JPG
Wild Caught Alaskan Salmon. The salmon was marinated for several hours in a Orange Marmalade, Soy Sauce, Rice Viniger, fresh Garlic, dash of Olive Oil, and Red Pepper Flakes.

The Spaghetti Squash was stuffed with homegrown carrots, onions, zucchini, after which it was topped with Parmesian Cheese, Brown Sugar and of course a good helping of everyones favorite 😜😜😜 BUTTER!
The last dish is one of my favorites. This tasty Beet salad will get YOUR salivary glands going.
This salad comes with organic Arugula, homegrown beets, and Goat Cheese. Tossed in a Homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette.

Last thing, the warm welcome that my better half received on her first two posts was really neat.
The good folks @fff made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Your assessment of these fine people is spot on and it is our pleasure to be considered part of the #fff family.
Here is one little example of what I'm talking about.
"If you get overwhelmed by anything around here, shoot me a line. I don’t know everything but I know a little bit and I’ll teach you everything I know."
I think you may know this guy. I believe his handle may be syadnad or something like that.
When I first read the comment he had left for my wife, I knew he had not put 2 and 2 together yet.
He was extending a helping hand for no other reason than a sincere willingness to be helpful.
I knew that there was a little something extra cool about you guys.
Shout out to #puravidaville, #dandays, and all of the #fff crew.

I think we have her hooked.

Hey @thebigsweed! Merry Christmas sir. It’s our pleasure to welcome your wife @farm-mom to the family. I’m glad she’s here, and can’t wait to see her creations.

Umm 🤔, the last time I had a hamburger (it definitely wasn’t cooked medium rare) was probably 2016. I’ve never been a big fan of hamburgers or cheese burgers, I much preferred chicken sandwiches. Dandays and I actually watched a documentary that led to us both doing a ton of research and ultimately to our present diet of not eating animal products. We will eat fish (that you caught) but nothing from a store or restaurant. My last post is all about all of the seafood we eat in fact but I’ve never been a big beef eating person anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️ Now cheese, that was my cryptonite until watching that doc, that is.

That salmon plate looks ridiculously good. Great job chef! We like your style over at the pura-days house too 😉
