Diabetic? Healthy Fats are the answer.
I speak from experience here. We have successfully reversed my mothers Diabetes through diet only. Her A1C numbers were 7.4 when the doctor alerted her, they are now 5.5 below the threshold. Her breakfast uses to be Oranges, English muffin and an egg, Now it is usually Bacon or ham eggs, cheese, and tomatoes.
I was shocked to learn that even too much protein can spike your blood sugar , and obviously Carbs and fruits do as well. The only sure fire foods that will never spike blood sugar are Fats. Olive Oil, Avacados, Macadamia nuts, Almonds, Pecans, Walnuts, Coconut Oil and all seeds are great examples. Peanut butter and almond butter as well.
