Sorry to hear about the vitriolic and xenophobic behavior that people responded with. I can't truly understand how people are that low and think that comments like that are warranted.
Thank you, for your compassion and solidarity. Dark times... Unfortunately, being behind a screen gives cowards courage and, of course they are emboldened by the exemplary behavior of Trump himself :/ The way I see it, violence (thoughts, words, deeds) is not only a failure of imagination but confession of defeat.
If they had better arguments, they'd use them. Instead, they lash out, in this vicious way. Oh well, sweet dreams and may you be out of harm's way
_/|\_Yeah, a screen really does help hide someone. It's sad though that they seamlessly jump on the bandwagon of hate without really thinking about it.
Hope you manage to stay out of harm's way as well
