Working with Crystal Energy

Last evening I had a client who wanted advice on buying crystals. She has been using some of the crystals since past few years and though she does not have very strong attachment to it, she still believes in it's energy. We had a long discussion on her requirements and I explained to her about ways to use her crystals and how to maintain them. One thing that came out in my conversation with her is some of her stuck beliefs on using the crystal. Someone in the past told her to put it in a certain place so after that she has been doing it just that way. And this is what I see with many clients, they ask me where to keep, how to keep and all of those questions. When I advice them a certain way they are stuck with it for years. If they want to move it around they will ask my permission.

Fair enough, when you do not have knowledge you tend to be curious about these things. But I tell them that the energy of crystals is a very creative expression, hence we need to be creative with our use also and be freely following it's energy. It's important to listen to our crystal. The moment you hold them, even if you do not feel the energy in the hand, you will feel the crystal, the crystal will intuitively give you some guidance and one needs to follow that. The very first time I held an Amethyst, I instantly knew that this crystal is going to change my life. I did not ask anyone how to use it. I was guided by my crystals themselves, some how or the other I kept getting information and I kept going with the flow of it. Some times I slept with it and some days I used it in meditations, some times I would carry it in travels and whatever I would feel in that moment with my crystal I would go with the flow. I never thought of rooting it in just one particular place all the time.

Now I have a house full of crystals, and I cannot carry all of them around, but I keep shuffling their places and work with their energies in different ways. I keep doing their cleansing and charging regularly so that their energy is vibrant. When you work with crystals, it would be nice to talk to them, hold them and spend time with them. Bringing them home and just rooting them in one particular place is not the ideal way to work with it, otherwise it just becomes like another show piece of your home. The more time you can spend with them, the more their energies will start corresponding with you.

On a general basis people buy couple of crystals, so it's not difficult to spend time with them. A little knowledge of energy work in this field will be helpful, because that will make you understand that you can play around with energies and not get fixed with them. Our energies elevate when it's free flowing. If there are energy blocks it will impact in many ways physically and mentally, and such is the energy of the crystal also. Keep it in a joyful space and spend happy moments with it, appreciate it's presence in your life and you will see how magically it will work with you.
