Top 5 Reasons Bitshares Is a Winner.

1. Decentralized crypto currency exhange. No third party. No middlemen. Trades are performed on the blockchain.

2. Exchange fees are divided among members. Anyone can buy a membership if they choose to share in the fees earned. Purchasing a membership is not required to use the exchange.

3. Fast transactions. Bitshares uses the BTS token a top 20 coin currently trading at about $.13 USD. Sending tokens is almost instant and wallet addresses are labeled as names instead of long alphanumeric combinations. You can send BTS to Champagne-Crypto very easily with no need to remember a long wallet address.

4. Bitshares can act as a wallet and a place to store coins like Bitcoin, ETH, DASH, STEEM, and more. Coins are stored on the Bitshares blockcain, on your Bitshares private wallet, and no third party is involved.

5. Users can create and issue coins or digital assets. This maybe the most sexy feature of Bitshares, DIY ICO's! I could create a CHAMP coin and offer it for sale on the Bitshares exchange against other crypto currencies. This opens up many possibilities for crowd funding.

In fact, I recently placed a bid on BUILDTEAM a coin recently launched by the developers behind @minnowbooster and @steemsports among others that promises to allow holders to use BUILDTEAM tokens to bid on a portion of the team's monthly profits. I'm excited about this project. kaBOOM!

  1. This is true if you trade BTS to bitAssets like bitCNY, bitUSD, etc.
If you trade UIA like OPEN.BTC then you are exposed to counterparty risk, because then your partner is Open Ledger

  2. This is partially true

  3. true

  4. This is not true, Open Ledger is involved as a third party. And you have UIA → EBA – Exchange Backed Assets from Open Ledger which is basically deposit confirmation which you can trade it

  5. true
